Disney Fantasy Draft - Talk Disney to Me Podcast
The new Talk Disney to Me has arrived. It is a new year, the podcast has a new name, and what a way to open 2015 than having a Disney Fantasy Draft. Here are the rules...like a fantasy football draft, participates get a chance to pick a character, a setting, a villain, a sidekick, a home, etc. Once a player picks something, no one else can choose it. For example, if someone chooses Ariel as their character than Ariel can't be picked by anyone else.
We had so much fun recording this episode. We got to have Jen back on the show which is always fun and hilarity was impossible to contain while I edited. The last 15 minutes is mostly jibber-jabber but we hope you enjoy it...and if you don't care to listen to that section, be sure to speed ahead to the outro and listen to the bloopers. Overall, it was a great time.
I know I speak for my fellow hosts when I say that we can't wait for all the changes coming to Talk Disney to Me. We hope all of the listeners enjoy what they hear and as always, encourage feedback and fun learning! Happy 2015 everyone. Enjoy the podcast and I hope you have a magical New Year!

Frederick Mubang's Disney Medley Rock Guitar Remix
There have been many Disney covers posted to YouTube. Some are good and some are just...not. It is hard to recreate songs of such caliber. But when a cover is done well, it is usually really really good and that is the case for Fred Mubang's Disney Medley Rock Guitar Remix.
This rock remix does more than just simply replay notes on the guitar. Mubang really captures the music and incorporates his own style while still holding onto the magic of the original songs. The song covers five Disney tracks from Aladdin, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Mulan and Pocahontas.
The music video for this song is what is the icing on the cake. Directed and edited by Jared Miller, the video not only includes some awesome voice overs directly from the Disney movies featured but also is filtered with an old school, vintage VHS quality. Remember messing with the tracking on VHS players and trying to get rid of those annoying static white lines? Who would have thought we would come to appreciate them in twenty years!
Videos like these are what make the internet so engaging. There are so many talented people out there and it gives them the ability to share their art with the world. This track and music video is really good and I would encourage every Disney fan to check it out right away! Well done Fred Mubang. Well done. CLICK HERE!

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2015
Start planning your 2015 Disney World vacation right with The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2015 book. The book, which is the size of a Harry Potter novel, has lots of tips and tricks that will give you the best Disney experience possible!
The book is unofficial which means Disney takes no part in the publication. This doesn't downgrade the book in any way though. In fact, I expect the author would be more honest about the parks because he doesn't work for Disney. He is writing about the places to go and see at Disney and being honest if something isn't as amazing as you've heard. He doesn't hype things up to get more theme-park-goers.
The book goes into great detail about everything! It gives you advice for planning and it gives you crowd estimates and even talks about the special ticketed events so you can see if it is worth paying the extra money or not. The book also goes into detail about all the accommodations Disney provides including policies, Fast Pass/Magic Band information, benefits of staying at a Disney resort, and more. This edition even talks about the Disney Cruise Line. All editions discuss what is new in the parks though not as much detail is given to extremely new attractions since these books are written so far in advanced I imagine. And there are even tips for visiting other parks like Universal and Sea World. Yep, this book literally has it all.
When my family and I went to Disney last year, we used the guide book mostly to plan where we were going to eat with the Disney Dining Plan. The book is split by each park so when you arrive to the Dining Section and want to find places to eat at Epcot you just find that park's section and can see a chart of all the restaurants, their ratings, and if the restaurants serve snacks or meals for the dining plan.
This book is a must for planning a Disney trip! It is by no means lacking in information and provides so many tips for rides, dining, which resort is best to stay, and more! Pick it up today on Amazon! CLICK HERE!
